WRV falls at Owen Valley.

Owen Valley pushed its record to 13-3 after a 55-40 victory over White River Valley in a high school girls basketball game Tuesday night at Spencer.

OV led 25-17 at the half and 39-25 after three quarters.

WRV, who dropped to 10-8, got 12 points from Allison Wininger before she fouled out. Shannon Pittman scored 10 off the bench.

Alicia Wilson led all scorers with 25 points to pace the Lady Patriots. Hannah Corder added 11.

In the junior varsity game, WRV won 28-16 as Briauna George-Fisher scored eight points.

Ashley Hooks scored seven points, Shannon Pittman four, Lexi Graves and Lilly Hancock three each, Brittani George-Fisher two and Jasmine Padgett added one. Rachel Woods also played.

WRV will play a varsity-only game at 7 p.m. Thursday at Linton.
