Lady Lakers earn eighth win

Shakamak pushed its record to 8-11 after a 65-7 win at Eminence in a non-conference high school girls basketball game Thursday night.

Eminence slipped to 1-17.

Kelsey Fulford dished out 11 assists while Sierra Hudson scored a career-high 20 points.

Kelsey Pilant scored 28 points, two short of her career best.

"We had a good offensive night," said SHS coach Troy Fougerousse. "We now have to get ready for Cloverdale."

The Lady Lakers will host the Clovers Tuesday night.

There was no junior varsity game at the request of EHS.
