Lakers fall at Barr-Reeve

The Class A No. 3 Barr-Reeve Vikings got 14 points from Micah Bullock and Addison Wagler and 13 more from Jacob Bledsoe as they defeated visiting Shakamak 60-52 at Montgomery Friday night.

Barr-Reeve improved to 15-1 on the year.

The Lakers who led 18-15 after one quarter and 29-26 at the half, faltered defensively in the second half.

They were outscored by their hosts 20-14 in the third quarter and 14-9 in the fourth.

Brodie Crowe led the Lakers, who fell to 7-9 on the season, led all scorers with 28 points in a losing effort.

Patrick Green added nine for Shakamak while Kyle Schubla added five and Brandon Morin finished with four.

The Lakers return to action Saturday (tonight) when they travel to North Central at 6 p.m.
