Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gravemier of Linton will celebrate 60 years of marriage.

Mary Margaret Gillette, the daughter of William Gillette and Myrtle Hart Gillette, and Frank Andrew Gravemier, the son of Edith Byers Gravemier and Carroll Gravemier, were married in Linton on Feb. 6, 1953.

They have resided in Linton their entire married life and in the same house on SE B St. all but a few months.

They have two sons, Gregory Gene Gravemier and Mark Andrew Gravemier.

Mark and his wife Debra Owen Gravemier, reside in Tell City.

Greg and his partner, Leland Roth, live in Sterling, Va., near Washington, D.C.

The Gravemiers have two grandsons, Paul Andrew Gravemier of Memphis, Tenn., and Caleb Owen Gravemier of Chesterton, Ind.

Frank and Mary are both graduates of Linton-Stockton High School. Frank worked at the Linton Daily Citizen for many years, and Mary worked in the utility office for the city of Linton until her retirement.

Since their retirement, they have remained active and can be seen out and about in the Linton community most days.

Mary has several collections including angels and deer figurines. Her most prized collection includes 200 nativity sets, several from foreign countries given to her by friends and missionaries.

Frank and Mary have been active in church activities their entire married life and currently attend the Linton First Baptist Church.

Friends are encouraged to send cards and notes to their home at 149 B St. SE, Linton, Ind., 47441.
