Thanks for help

during tough times

To the Editor:

The family of Bob Hardisty would like to thank everyone for their love and support during his illness and passing.

We especially want to thank the great staff at Greene County Hospital, Dr. Ridge, Dr. Batterton and all the nurses and aides. Bob could not have received better care anywhere. Everyone went out of their way to make sure he was comfortable and we had everything we needed.

We want to thank all our friends who called, sent food and made hospital visits. A special thanks to Pastor Dwight Gould, the Rev. Kenneth Adams, Pastor Mark Mesmer and Pastor Steve Dunkel.

We want to express our appreciation to the many people who donated to the church and the Alzheimer's Memory Garden. All donations will be used to add special touches to the Memory Garden to make it a family friendly environment.

Many thanks to the ladies of the Pleasantville United Methodist Church for the wonderful meal for our family and to Vera for always being there to help.

Lastly, there are no words to describe the care Bob received at Glenburn. The staff in the Alzheimer's unit was wonderful, caring and did their best to make him comfortable.

To the Editor:

On behalf of the John E. Stewart Sr. family, we want to thank you for all your many prayers, cards, visits, phone calls, texts and beautiful comments, flowers and other tributes during our wonderful husband, dad and papa's illness and passing on to Heaven.

We want to thank all of the nurses, CNA's and rehab personnel at Glenburn Home for their wonderful care. Also the doctors, nurses, CNAs and other personnel of Greene County General Hospital for their loving care.

Our gracious thanks to the Nine Mile Minister and John Osborne for their wonderful words of love for John. A big thank you to the members and friends of the Nine Mile Methodist Church, the REMC and Linton Walmart 1002 for the delicious food prepared for the dinner after the funeral.

We also thank the Masonic Lodge for their presentation.

John will be greatly missed, but we know he is in heaven with all his other friends and relatives and pain free.

Our Love,

Patty, John II and Angie Stewart
