Letter to the Editor
To the Editor:
To all the people that took part in the motocross 50/50 drawing for our family, we would like to say thank you so very much.
We never would of dreamed that a life-changing illness could happen to our family. However, it did, on March 28, 2013 my husband was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. That day our whole world was turned upside down.
Brian is a plumber by trade and is not able to work anymore until he hopefully goes into remission which may take two to three more weeks already.
Then if the blood cancer is in remission he will then have to have a bone marrow transplant to ensure the leukemia is gone. This will take another three to four weeks in the hospital.
With God's help and friends and family like you, we can beat this disease. We don't know what our future will bring, but we can do this together with God's help.
It's wonderful to know that there are many people like you willing to help our family in this trying time. Please continue to pray for a cure for Brian. We will continue to pray that God will bless you and your families for helping us.
We would like to especially thank Dane and Vera Eichhorst, Scott Eichhorst, Chystal Woods, and the Linton-Stockton Chamber of Commerce for allowing this benefit for our family.
Thank you and God bless you all.
Brian, Ann, Jannae and Pierce Jackson
