Thank you to those who attended event

To the Editor:

We would like to thank everyone for your many prayers and donation of money, drinks, food and for coming to support Brian and our family on Saturday at our benefit. I would not want to list everyone and forget that one special person so please allow me to thank you now.

Brian was in the hospital and was unable to attend, but he was wearing his "Team Jackson" T-Shirt and with us in spirit. We can't believe that Brian has touched so many people in so many ways whether it was through work, friendships and classmates, all are very special.

We had 27 people that made the decision to donate Bone Marrow. That is a great commitment to make to save someone's life that is suffering with Leukemia, like my husband. This was a wonderful benefit that I hope nobody has to have for a loved one, but, it truely helped us in bringing us closer to our goal financially and finding a match for Brian.

I would especially like to thank my girls at Discovery Kids Daycare, Andrea Jackson, Andy Padgett, Amanda Lower, Brittany Loveless and co-owner and best friend Michelle Brown and Tom Ringer, owner of Town and Country Catering, Robin Fulford, Eric Herndon, Howard & Janice Herndon, for getting everything together to make the bone marrow drive possible and their families for making this a huge success.

I would also like to thank area businesses for their contributions: Paradise Tans, Landis Equipment & Tool Rental, Cullision's Primatives, CurbSide Flowers, Superior Ice, Save-A-Lot, Baeslers, Casey's General Strore, Sunoco, Jim's Petro, Subway, Jim Beasley from Pepsi, Linton-Stockton Basketball Team, Jonia Collenbaugh and Hoosier Hits, and Kevin Kramer for allowing us to use the parking lot and building for the benefit and Dane and Vera Eichhorst, Scott Eichhorst and Linton Chamber for the donation of money from the motorcross practice on Saturday, of course, all the friends and family that mean so much to us. Without all of you this could never have been possible, we love you all very much!!

Thank you and God Bless!

Thank you Glenburn Home

To the Editor:

After having visited other facilities with special care units, it was evident that the very best choice was to place my husband, Keith, in Glenburn Home. This facility has improved significantly, as indicated by the recent State Inspection and hopefully will continue to improve.

I would like to thank the entire staff for their kindness to me during my daily visits over the last years. The Nurses and CNA's, who so lovingly cared for Keith and their constant care and vigilance during his last hours will always hold a special place in my heart.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, May 31st, at 1:00 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church in Farmersburg, IN.

To the Editor:

I want to thank all who sent cards and made phone calls for my 90th Birthday. It was really nice hearing from friends, customers and former employees. I had a great two days. Thanks so much.
