Bud was born Feb. 22, 1933 in Greene County to Leonard and Gladys (Hill) Green.
He was a retired farmer, and his passion was Chevy trucks and John Deere tractors. He was a member of Worthington Christian Church and had been a Bible School teacher.
Bud is survived by his wife of 60 years, Phyllis (Calvert) Green, Worthington; two sons, Mark (Kathy) Green, Terre Haute and Denny (Denise) Green, Worthington; five grandchildren, Jessica Green, Bethany (Tyler) Allen, Lucas Green, Dustin (Jenny) Green and Corey (Sara) Green; six great grandchildren, Kinley, Whitney, Morgan, Haylee, Malachi and Isaiah, his grandchildren and great grandchildren were the joy of his life; two sisters, Rosemary Green, Linton and Dorothy Welch, Terre Haute.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Chauncey and Bernard Green, a sister, Thelma Green.
Funeral service will be at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington at 11 a.m. on Wednesday with Cliff Gano officiating.
Friends may call at Welch & Cornett 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, and 10 a.m. on Wednesday until time of service.
Burial will be in Worthington Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
