Foster family says thanks for recent

support

To the Editor:

The family of Gerald Foster wishes to thank you, Welch & Cornett Funeral Home, Sullivan Wesleyan Church, the Rev. Gary Larimer and the Rev. Eddie Hayes for the service, and Todd Walton.

Thank you to all family, friends, nieces, neighbors who sent food, cards, flowers, calls to our home and visits and memories.

Thank you to Vista Care Hospice for nurses and his care during his last days. Also, Wesleyan Church Ladies for the preparation of the meal after the funeral.

Thanks for making run, walk a success

To the Editor:

Open Arms Christian Ministries, located in Switz City, held their first annual 5k Spirit Sprint beginning at Worthington City Park on June 8.

Over 100 runners and walkers were in attendance.

Corporate sponsors were: Route 67 and Greene County Chiropractic, both located in Worthington. Thanks for help the past two years

To the Editor:

We would like to thank the Glenburn staff for their professional and caring way they took care of Joe during his two years there. Also, their kindness to me when I visited him.

We also want to thank the Switz City Full Gospel Church, our neighbors and friends that brought food, or helped in any way. Also, to the people that donated to the Lyons Food Pantry in Joe's memory, God bless every one of you.

anniversary special

To the Editor:

We want to thank our family, friends, and neighbors for making our 25th wedding anniversary celebration such a special day.

We thank you all for the beautiful cards, calls, letters, roses, gifts and love shown to us. Thank you to everyone who took the time out of their busy schedules to come and celebrate our special day with us. It meant so much to us!

A special thank you to our children, Miranda and Justin, and to our parents, Linda Ray and Lee Baker Sr. for putting it all together for us and making it happen.

We thank you all and love you all. May God bless each and every one of you. We pray now that God will bless us with another 25 years of health and happiness together!

Our family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, visits, food, flowers and memorial gifts in memory of Mary Ropp. She passed away at age 101 after enjoying a full life and experiencing only a brief illness.

We appreciate the loving and compassionate care she received at Greene County General Hospital and at Glenburn.
