Hobbs family

appreciates support

To the Editor:

The Hobbs' family would like to say thank you to all those that prayed for our family during the time of our mother Kay Hobbs' illness and passing. To all that sent cards, flowers, gifts or just stopped us on the street to say a few kind words, we thank you all.

Thank you Welch & Cornett Funeral Home for the help you gave us through this difficult time. Thank you Warren Shake for the great message you delivered at the funeral. We know Mom would have been very happy with your words and scripture passages. Thank you Linton First Christian Church for the funeral dinner and allowing the family to gather to remember and laugh. Mom made so many friends at Linton First Christian church and I know she felt all your prayers.

Thank you Glenburn Nursing Home for taking care of Mom in a manner that would have made her proud as a former Director of Nursing at your facility. Thank you Terre Haute Regional Hospital for making Mom comfortable during her last visit and for making the family comfortable during this difficult time also. Thank you Greene County General Hospital for being there when Mom needed you and making her comfortable during her transfer.

Thank you Dr. Guarav, Dr. A. Bhuptani, Dr. Jeevan and Dr. Deshpande for putting up with the nurse side of Mom and for all your sage advice.

Finally we would like to thank the staff of Wabash Valley Home Therapies of Terre Haute. You enabled Mom to fight the kidney disease for several months and to have a lot of quality time with her family and friends. Your patience and professionalism in dealing with those going through dialysis is remarkable.
