Loren Eugene Edmondson
Loren Eugene Edmondson, 89, of Odon, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at the Ketcham Memorial Nursing Home in Odon. He was born on September 18, 1925 in Odon to Ray and Marie (Toon) Edmondson.
Loren was a WWII U.S. Navy veteran and later worked as a swine herdsman. He was a member of the Elnora United Methodist Church and was a 50-year Past Master of Elnora Masonic Lodge No. 616 F & AM.
Survivors include one brother, Ira Edmondson of Evansville; and two sisters Audrey Martin of Indianapolis and Shannon Edmondson of Washington.
Loren was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Dorothy Hagemeier, Vera Arthur, Carolyn Pauley and Charlotte Held; two brothers, Lee and Kenneth Edmondson.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 20, 2015 at the Odon United Methodist Church with Pastor Debbie Payne and Pastor Paul Huntsman officiating. Interment will follow at Elnora Fairview Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at the church from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 19 and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 20. A Masonic Memorial service is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Thursday.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made in memory of Loren to the charity of your choice.
