National Weather Service Zone Forecast for Greene County: Frigid week ahead

Arctic air remain in place much of this week. Temperatures early this morning will fall to the single digits south central and below zero near and north of Interstate 70 with wind chills as low as 15 to near 20 degrees below zero. Similar conditions will return overnight Monday night and Tuesday morning. A wind chill advisory is in effect for all of Central Indiana through 9 am this morning. Another wind chill advisory is possible Monday night and Tuesday morning. If you must venture outside, dress in multiple layers and take frequent breaks to warm up. Also, allow extra travel time and carry emergency supplies in case your car breaks down. Subzero low temperatures will again be possible later in the week as well.
