Glenburn Home hosts Polar Plunge

Glenburn Home didn't let the snowfall on Spring Break go to waste! Their Polar Plunge Fundraiser Main Event went on without a hitch on last Friday with temperatures in the lower 30's.

Four Glenburn Home employees took the Polar Plunge as promised since they reached their fundraising goal of $500 for the Alzheimer's Association.

Glenburn Home staff launched this Polar Plunge Fundraising event the first week of March in hopes to raise a goal of $500 for the Alzheimer's Association.

Their various fundraisers included a Bake Sale, T-Shirt Sale, Bracelet Sale, and general donations.

On Friday, after the four employees each took their Polar Plunge.

The four employees who dared to take the challenge included: Jeff Slaven, Maintenance, Alicia McGhee, Activities, Ann Morgan, L.P.N., and Jerry Mathis, Social Services.

Glenburn Home will continue their fundraising efforts throughout the year.
