GCSD is seeking information on a SUV stolen Friday evening

The Greene County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help to locate a vehicle that went missing on Friday evening.

Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Zach Goad reported the vehicle is a burgundy Chevy Blazer and it went missing approximately at 6 p.m. on Friday evening from Pinewood in eastern Greene County.

Goad said the theft is under active investigation.

In requesting assistance from the Greene County Daily World, a family friend said the loss of this vehicle creates a hardship for this family and they would appreciate help in locating their SUV.
