Community mental health center in Greene County to receive funds to improve health of persons with mental illness and addiction diagnoses

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has awarded $900,000 in funds to Affiliated Service Providers of Indiana, Inc. (ASPIN) to be used over the next three years to improve the health of persons with mental illness and/or addiction diagnoses served by five community mental health centers in Greene, Wabash, Whitley, Pulaski, Cass, Miami, Parke, Fountain, Montgomery, White, Wayne, Randolph and Fayette Counties of Indiana through the training of case managers as community health workers and by increasing the number of ACA Healthcare Marketplace navigators. Partners in this effort include: The Bowen Center, Centerstone of Indiana, Four County Counseling Center, Hamilton Center, Inc., and Wabash Valley Alliance.
