Lady Cardinals Tennis Team defeats Lady Miners
Two Greene County teams faced off Wednesday night as the Bloomfield Cardinals went up against the Linton Miners. As the dust settled, the Cardinals came up with a handy victory, beating the Miners 5-0.
Though the match was a tough loss for the Miners, LS Coach Jamie Brown said Canty’s Bloomfield squad were a tough team.
“We faced a tough team on Wednesday, and I want to congratulate Coach Canty on his victory.
“We still have a long way to go in the season, but by facing better teams is the only way for the girls to get good experience on the courts,” Brown said.
