One airlifted after three vehicle accident

A three vehicle accident Thursday evening left one injured.

According to an accident report filed by Greene County Sheriff’s Department Shawn Cullison, the accident took place on State Road 157 N, north of Tulip Road.

A 1994 Chevy pickup, driven by a Steven Pearson, was traveling south on SR 157 when he reportedly struck a 2014 Chevy pickup, driven by a Barry Boyd, who was traveling north.

Pearson’s vehicle was reportedly pushed into the path of a Michael Beatty, who was traveling south in a Ford tractor.

Beatty and Boyd were noted to be uninjured. Pearson was reportedly airlifted to Indianapolis.

Other departments responding to the accident included the Bloomfield Police Department, Worthington Police Department, Greene County Ambulance Department, Richland Township Fire Department and Highland Township Fire Department.
