Jay Reed's 'Reframing America' photo exhibit will be in Linton at the Carnegie Arts Center this July, with new works from all over the country.

In addition, Jay Reed (returning Linton native) has published a book of short stories.

The book “Jay Short Stories, Insights, and Lessons from a life of Hope and Abundance” is said to "touch your heart and take you back to a simpler time."

According to Reed, the book was runner up for the Beverly Hills International Book Awards for short stories.

Reed will be signing books Saturday July 1 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Carnegie Arts Center. The books will be $5, with $1 donated to Carnegie.

The Reframing America photos will be at the Center from July 1 thru July 29, and can be purchased for $40 each, with $10 going to the Carnegie.

They are all 11x14 gloss prints, double matted, and in a black frame.

"The book and photos are not only an expression of creativity, they are a way of preserving not just the history of a moment but the history of its emotions," said Reed.
