Yule like Linton!

Monday, November 27, 2017

Linton’s Humphreys Park is making its presence known as it twinkles and glimmers every evening until January.

Linton businesses sponsor each display, and the lights are strung each season by minimum-security offender crews from the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility in Carlisle.

  • They do a wonderful job. But I have a question. How does the electricity

    get to each display??

  • While I was out there taking pictures, I noticed a system of power cords snaking out to each area. They have been very careful keeping the cords from becoming a jungle and tripping anybody. I was out there in the dark and hardly had to watch my step. The Park Board could probably answer better than I have, but I hope this helps.

    Thanks for reading!
