Anna Lee Wools, age 91, of Linton, passed away peacefully at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at her daughter’s residence, surrounded by her family. She was born in Linton on March 13, 1926, the daughter of George Edward Michael and Lillian Gertrude (Bobbitt) Michael.Anna Lee was a graduate of Midland High School. During her life, Anna Lee worked at as a seamstress at Form Fit, also working at Crane and TRW parts plant.

Anna Lee was a member of the Linton Church of Christ.

She is survived by her daughters, Pat (Jim) Taylor and Peggy (Phil) Leighty, both of Linton; grandsons, Greg (Sheila) Leighty and Joe (Lesley) Leighty; a granddaughter, Angie (Tim) York; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Payton, Evan, Griffin, and Jacklyn Leighty, Tyler and Dalton York, Kole Gardner, Drew, Maddie, and Lauren Bruns, and James and Justine Gardner; a great-great granddaughter, Violet Pauline Gardner and special friends Dustin and Christopher Turley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Clarence H. Wools on July 28, 2008; brother, Glen Michael; two sisters, Mary Kirkwood and Betty Beaupain; and a granddaughter, Melissa (Kip) Gardner.

Funeral service will be held at the Linton Church of Christ at noon on Friday, December 8, with Pat Kelly and Jerry Carmichael officiating. Burial will follow at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland .

Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

Services are in care of Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton.
