Pleasant Grove Farm is all spruced up for the holidays
Pleasant Grove Farm in Lyons has begun its eleventh annual Christmas Musical light show.
As with every year, Pleasant Grove Farm “sleighs” it with a light show synced to music. This cool-for-Yule show pleases children of any age.
Described as Indiana’s largest outdoor choreographed Christmas musical, the site spans 13 acres and utilizes 22,000 controllable lights sparkling in time to music played locally on FM 97.5.
There are two shows to choose from, each with two hours of music.
The first is the Christmas show, running now through Dec. 26 each night from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m., and the second, the Patriotic Show, begins Dec. 27 and runs through Jan. 2, also from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m.
The Pleasant Grove Farm light show is free but donations are accepted.
The Christmas show features classic Christmas songs with artists like Elvis Presley, Bing Crosby and Burl Ives.
The Patriotic Show is dedicated to the honor of the nation’s service men and women, and features military theme songs and other patriotic music.
