Everett M. Nolting

Everett M. Nolting, age 94, of Linton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, at Lyons Health & Living Center. He was born in Linton on Aug. 8, 1923, the son of George & Sophia (Tendick) Nolting.

Everett was a graduate of Switz City High School. He was a self-employed farmer, enjoying many years farming with his family. He loved farming and enjoyed the hobby of glass cutting. He was a member of the Saron United Church of Christ.

He is survived by his daughter, Diane (Ron) Rhoten of Linton; son, Kenneth (Debra) Nolting of Linton; grandchildren, Dustin (Cassandra) Nolting of Linton, Cameron Rhoten of Linton, Annelise (Josiah) Schunk of Worthington, Chase (Kayla) Rhoten of Linton, Jennifer (Trey) Graves of Linton; and his great-grandchildren, Morgan, Eleanor, Max, James, and Henry.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Beulah Nolting; his brother, Bert Nolting; and three Sisters, Kathrine Nolting, Alice Kjelland, and Ruth Dankert.

Funeral service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 15, 2018, with Pastor Jeff Fulk officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-5 p.m., and Monday from noon until the time of service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Greene County Humane Society through the funeral home.
