Foundation allows Hi-Rise residents to visit show
Music, comedy and laughter filled the air March 9 and 10 as the hottest show in Branson, Missouri came to Bloomfield’s own Shawnee Theatre.
Pierce Arrow, who are well known for their various types of music including gospel and country, performed for three sold-out shows along with comedian James Sublet who joined the group bringing the crowd to its feet.
Through the generosity of the Greene County Foundation, six residents of the Bloomfield Hi-Rise were presented tickets to the show – given by the Foundation – by Hi-Rise office manager Melissa Blake. Those attending were: Geena Secoy Cynthia Kelley, Nick Graves, Thomas Gillispie, Mark Craig and David Kelley, Jr. All concluded that the show was “funny” and “put a smile on their faces.” The six thanked the Foundation for their generosity which allowed them to attend the concert.
