Turning Point Educational Center (TPEC), a part of the Open Arms Family and Educational Services, near Switz City, is now offering free high school equivalency, CNA certification, teaching assistant certification, and welding certification.

TPEC can also refer students for free CDL, HVAC, computer tech, administrative assistant with a Microsoft Office specialist, clinical medical assistant, and automotive training.

CNA schedule - 6-week course on campus and at Lyons Nursing Home

Aug. 20 – Sept. 28

Oct. 8 – Nov. 16

Jan. 14 – Feb. 22 (No classes in March due to spring breaks and vacations)

April 1 – May 10

June 10 – July 19

Welding schedule - 7-week course on campus and at Bloomfield High School

Aug. 20 – Oct. 5

Oct. 15 – Dec. 7 (No classes the week of Thanksgiving)

Jan. 14 – March 1 (No classes in March due to spring breaks and vacations)

April 1 – May 17

June 10 – July 28
