UPDATE TEEN FOUND:Runaway teen last seen in Lyons

Police have located a runaway juvenile.

Anthony Christopher Thomas, 15, was reported missing in Lyons Thursday afternoon, according to a press release from the Greene County Sheriff’s Department.

A second press release received about 9:45 p.m. Thursday said he had been located in Newberry. The report said he was safe.

Anthony Christopher Thomas, 15, was last seen in Lyons. According to a press release from the Greene County Sheriff’s Department, Thomas’ last known clothing was a navy blue winter coat, tan pants, red/white/black tennis shoes.

Thomas is described 5-feet 9-inches and 160 pounds. He has short, ear-length straight, black hair. He has no facial hair, wears glasses and has a medium build.

GCSD states he has no known destination. More information will be released as it is available.

As of press time Thursday, Thomas had not been located.
