UPDATED: Ellis Water boil order lifted

The Boil Order for Ellis Water that was issued last Friday has been cancelled effective immediately.


Original story:

Due to a water main break, Ellis Water is issuing a precautionary Boil Order for Greene County customers North of West County Road 400 North and West of North County Road 1175 W. This will also include Sullivan County customers in the Gilmore area.

Customers in this area should boil their drinking and cooking water for 5 minutes prior to using.

This boil order will remain in effect until further notice.
