UPDATED: Linton teen found FREE ACCESS: Rural Linton teen missing

UPDATE: As of 5:34 p.m. June 12, Joseph Palmer has been located and he is safe.

The Greene County Sheriff's Department is asking for assistance in locating 15-year-old Joseph Palmer of rural Linton.

Palmer is described as 5-foot-10 and weighs approximately 120 pounds, with a thin build, dark skin tone, black hair, brown eyes and wears glasses.

Palmer is believed to have left his residence, located on County Road 1330 West, on foot. No clothing description available. There is no known destination, however, the juvenile left the residence with camping gear.

A photo is not available at this time, but GCSD said they will provide one when available.
