Thank you for support after death

To the Editor:

The family of the late Kevin J McKee of Oregon, Ill., formerly of Greene County, wishes to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following our sad loss of Kevin in November of 2019.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, former neighbors and well-wishers who visited our home, attended the services and provided support to us during this difficult time. We appreciate those who traveled long distances, sent flowers and made charitable donations in his honor, we are truly grateful.

We offer a very special thank you to the medical team of Mercy Health at Home for their kindness and respect they showed Kevin during his trails with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease). They were with us at his darkest and final hours, which their kindness will never be forgotten.

We will continue to honor his wishes by many random acts of kindness and encourage you to do the same.
