Linton Elementary readies for kindergarten enrollment

March is kindergarten enrollment month for the 2020/2021 Linton kindergarten classes.

During the month of March, Linton-Stockton Elementary needs enrollment forms for students who will be entering kindergarten next school year. Children who will be 5 years old on or before Aug. 1, 2020 are eligible to enroll. Enrollment forms may be picked up in the elementary office beginning March 2, 2020.

Please have your enrollment form turned in to the elementary office no later than March 31, 2020. When you turn your enrollment form in, the school will then set up your child’s kindergarten screening appointment. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Please note: If your child attends a Linton pre-school, enrollment forms have already been given to the pre-school for your child to bring home.

Required Immunizations for school enrollment are:

• 5 doses of DTaP/DTP/DT

• 4 doses of Polio/IPV

• 3 doses of Hepatitis B vaccine

• 2 doses MMR

• 2 doses of Varicella, or physician statement with date of chickenpox

• 2 Hepatitis A
