• VIGO - 1339 positive cases among the 16,690 tested, with 17 deaths.

• GREENE - 369 positive cases among the 4,731 tested, with 35 deaths.

• PUTNAM - 435 positive cases among the 5,323 tested, with eight deaths.

• CLAY - 233 positive cases among the 3,799 tested, with five deaths.

• SULLIVAN - 291 positive cases among the 3,208 tested, with eight deaths.

• OWEN - 146 positive cases among the 3,486 tested, with one death.

• PARKE - 79 positive cases among the 1,841 tested, with two deaths.

• VERMILLION - 95 positive cases among the 2,052 tested, with no deaths reported.

The ISDH reports 94,891 positive cases among the 6.7 million Indiana residents, with 1,442,887 residents tested, and 3,093 deaths reported.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (US), there are 6,004,443 cases reported in the United States, with a total of 183,050 deaths.

The CDC and the World Health Organization have 25,327,098 diagnosed cases worldwide, with 848,255 deaths reported throughout the world.

Gov. Eric Holcomb this week extended Indiana’s statewide face mask order for another month, saying it was still needed to control spread of the coronavirus.

Holcomb issued the order in July, which requires face covering use by anyone ages 8 and older in any indoor public or business areas and at outdoor public spaces when sufficient distancing can’t be maintained.

The Republican governor also extended limits on crowd sizes for restaurants, bars and public events.
