White River Valley Board approves 2021 budget; hears Wolverine Enterprise Leadership report

The White River Valley School Board met Monday night for its regular monthly public session. The Board heard and approved the 2021 school budget from Superintendent Dr. Bob Hacker. The advertised budget is less than a cent lower than the 2020 budget on the advertised tax rate. The Board approved several budget resolutions, including the acceptance of the 2021 CPF plan and the Bus Replacement Plan. Dr. Hacker explained that WRV is paying off its Pension Bond in December leaving the district with only one debt service responsibility. Hacker stated WRV had the lowest debt responsibility of any of the school districts in the county and commended the Board on its fiscal responsibility.
