Greene County Health Department offering free flu shots

We are still fighting COVID-19 in Greene County and another serious issue is upon us; it is the flu and it can affect anyone. We don’t want to see a one-two punch this winter with COVID-19 and the flu. The good news is protecting yourself is simple. Getting a flu shot protects you, your family and your friends.

Free flu vaccines are available at the Greene County Health Department (GCHD) Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with extended hours on Wednesdays until 6PM.

We also have additional dates and times for you to get vaccinated to make it quick and easy for individuals four years of age and older who live or work in Greene County.

No appointments necessary. Please remember to wear your mask, only bring people with you who are getting vaccinated, and do not attend if you have a fever or if you are sick. Social distancing will be in place.
