Greene County Foundation opens scholarships to graduating seniors

Monday, January 18, 2021

The Greene County Foundation’s scholarship application is now open to graduating high school seniors. There are currently 27 scholarships open to applicants from the class of 2021. Applications will be available online until 11:59 p.m. on March 1. Students should apply at greenecountyfoundation.org/scholarships/highschool.

Last year the Foundation gave 50 awards in total scholarship support of $95,445. This year, a new scholarship portal should match students automatically to the scholarships for which they qualify—making it an easier process for students.

“The Greene County Foundation is proud to invest in our youth through scholarship support, so we encourage college-bound students to apply,” said Sherri Knieriem, chief executive officer.
