Night of debauchery lands three in jail

Three Worthington residents are facing criminal charges following a series of sordid events. According to a probable cause document filed by Officer James O’Malley of the Worthington Police Department, Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputies Davis Aerne and Devan Goad were dispatched to a suicidal subject call at 225 Hanna St, Lot 26 in Worthington on April 1 at approximately 5:48 a.m. When police arrived, they met with domestic pair Charles Philpot and Ashley Burris and their infant child. Also present was Ashley’s sister, Julia Egan. Philpot told police that Egan was suicidal and had threatened to cut her wrists. Reportedly, Philpot also told police that Egan had raped him and his partner, Burris. In addition, Philpot reported that Egan had physically harmed the infant and that “Julia would admit to everything.”
