Commissioners encourage a return to ‘business as usual’

The Greene County Commissioners met in regular session on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in the Commissioner’s Room on the third floor of the courthouse. In COVID-19 updates, President Nathan Abrams said, “Today, some of the governor’s new directives go into effect. And that is, he has lifted the mask mandate. Commissioners are also doing the same, but department heads and elected officials operate their offices as they see fit.” Abrams recommended residents continue with social distancing but said masks will not be mandated. Abrams also encouraged businesses operating remotely to reopen physical offices.
