FREE ACCESS: Bloomfield Pool event canceled for July Fourth Festivities

According to Bloomfield Pool Manager Diane Rodriguez, the event planned for this evening, Sunday, July 4, 2021, "Fireworks and Floaties," has been cancelled due to a biological incident at 5:15 p.m. at the pool.

"Due to state law, this means that we must close for 24 hours while the water is cleaned and circulates through the filters," Rodriguez explained.

She said pool staff extends their sincerest apologies for the closure and their wishes for a safe and happy Fourth of July holiday to all.
