The Greene County Literacy Coalition invites all high school seniors in the county to participate in their annual essay contest.

Essays should be at least 1,000 words. Essays are due Monday Nov. 1, 2021. Essays should answer the following question. What is your favorite book and how has it influenced your life?

Participants should e-mail their essays along with a cover letter including their full name as well as which school they currently attend using the subject line: Essay Contest to literacy@bloomfield.lib.in.us.

The winning participant will receive a $500.00 award and be asked to read his/her essay at the November Greene County Literacy Coalition Board Meeting on Tuesday Nov. 16 at 6:30pm at the Library Annex Building location at 87 E. Spring St. Bloomfield, IN 47424.
