Donna A. Walton

Donna A. Walton, age 68, of Terre Haute, formerly of Linton, passed away peacefully at 5:02 a.m. on Monday, January 23, 2023, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. She was born in Linton on April 2, 1954, the daughter of Donald Joe and Lavera Ann (Myers) McCombs.

Donna was a 1972 graduate of Linton-Stockton High School. She attended college at North Adams State College and Ivy Tech. She was a homemaker and loved photography, enjoyed landscaping and was a bird enthusiast.

She was a member of the Jasonville Assembly of God Church.

Donna is survived by her husband, Danny Walton; her mother, Ann Speakman (Clyde Harlan); her children, Kevin Lewellyn (Stacy) of Linton, Nikki Gibson, Doug Walton; grandchildren, Christian Lewellyn (Stacie), Andrew Lewellyn (Brittany), Ben Lewellyn (Brooklyn Smith), Grace Lewellyn, Eli Lewellyn, Tanner Gibson and Bryce Gibson; a great-grandson, Bentley Gibson; a sister, Becky Farmer; two step-sisters, Jody Ferree and Darla Mason.

She was preceded in death by her father, a sister, Cathy Grady; and a son-in-law, Todd Gibson.

Visitation will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m..
