Kenny “Mouse” Heaton

Kenny “Mouse” Heaton, 87, of Bloomfield passed away Tuesday June 18, 2024 at his residence.

Born June 24, 1936 in Bloomfield, he was the son of Everett & Betty (Hasler) Heaton.

Mouse worked at several service stations in Bloomfield, and he also worked for Van Thompson at the Bloomfield Furniture Store. Mouse was a veteran of the National Guard and was a member of the Mansions in Heaven and Walnut Grove Church of God churches.

Surviving relatives include his wife of 63 years (married in 1961) Orvella Heaton; his two children, Vanessa (Joe) Karl and Wes (Susan) Heaton; his three grandchildren, Payton (Shia) Karl, Heather Heaton and Hunter Heaton; two great grandchildren, Jedd and Jace Karl; one brother, David (Janetta) Heaton and his nieces and nephew, Kimberly Heaton, Sarah Bowman, Rick Smallwood and Kelly Black.

Mouse was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Clara Jo Smallwood.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 25, 2024 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mansions in Heaven Church in Bloomfield.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the Mansions in Heaven Church with Rev. Erin Raper and Pastor Jim Ogle officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.

The family ask that any memorial donation in Kenny’s name be given to the Mansions in Heaven Church.
