We need to be united under God

To the Editor:

9/11, do you remember?

True, we all rushed to the church of our choice, at least for a couple weeks. Then back to our self-sufficient style of living. And God continued to be less and less an important part of our lives.

It has become a nation similar to the one refereed to in Isaiah 9:8,9

"The Lord has sent a message against Jacob; it will fall on Israel

All the people will know it - Ephraim and the inhabitants of Samaria - who say with pride and arrogance of heart

The bricks have fallen down, but we will rebuild with dressed stone; the fig trees have been felled, but we will replace them with cedars."

I would recommend reading the entire 9th chapter to get the whole picture.

America, it is time to face the reality that we need to return to God and let Him lead us to repentance and "heal our land" ... "One Nation Under God."

Time to set aside our differences and become united under God and work together to turn this great country back into the Hands of God as our forefathers intended.

Far too many have paid the "supreme sacrifice" for us to stand by and see our freedoms disappear.

Onward Christian Soldiers: Like a mighty army moves the church of God, Brothers, we are treading where the Saints have trod. We are not divided, all one body, one in hope and doctrine, one in charity.

Thank you

for support

To the Editor:

Many thanks to all who sent cards, food, or money and for coming to Cindy Inman's passing.

She would be so happy to see so many of her friends whom she loved and who loved her.

Thank you Debbie for the memory blanket. I'll always cherish it.

And thank you to preacher Larry Weaver.

God bless all of you.
