Thanks to the strangers who helped

To the Editor:

Through an unfortunate incident on Oct. 11, I met a most kind couple on State Road 59 South as I came into Linton.

I had blown a tire and he did all the work of changing it while she talked with me. In my confusion and relief, I didn't ask their names.

I thank them for the time, worry and expense they saved me. They wouldn't accept pay and acted as though it was nothing. It was big to me!

Be proud of good citizens such as they are. I like Linton!
