LINTON POLICE DEPARTMENT

ACTIVITY REPORT

The Linton Police log for Aug. 11 included: One juvenile case, one property damage traffic accident, one child abuse/molest/neglect case, one drug overdose, one arrest on an outstanding warrant, one domestic dispute with a neighbor and three traffic stops.

* Aug. 11 -- The LPD investigated a disorderly conduct case on F Street NE. A man complained that a female neighbor, Jacquelyn L. (Ackers) Myer, 50, was yelling loudly both inside and outside her residence and keeping him from being able to sleep and the noise was disturbing a five-month-old baby in the house. Officer Debbie McDonald talked to the woman, who said she had been drinking, and advised her to keep the noise down. About 15 minutes later, police received a second complaint. McDonald stood outside the neighbor's residence and could hear yelling and screaming. Myer was arrested for disorderly conduct and is being held in the county jail on $500 bond.

DEPARTMENT JAIL LOG

* Aug 12 -- Jacquelyn L. Myer, 50, Linton, was arrested by the Linton Police Department on a preliminary charge of disorderly conduct. Bond set at $500 pending a court appearance.

* Aug. 11 -- Tony J. Niebrugge, 41, Linton, was arrested by the Greene County Sheriff's Department on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence. He is being held without bond pending a court appearance.

* Aug. 11 -- Kevin L. Corns, 26, Linton was arrested by the Worthington Police Department on a warrant charging him with theft. Bond was set at $19,000.
