  • Reading this brought back some memories for me. My grandparents had a cabin (my grandma called it the Summer Kitchen) behind there house that made you go back in time when you walked through the door. No electricity, no running water, and of course a feather bed! My cousins and I decided we were going to sleep out there one night, but I think it only lasted about an hour. We heard a noise in the pasture and high-tailed it back to the house. Grandma must have known because the porch light was on, door unlocked, and pallets were already made for us on the floor. I miss those times!

  • I believe your grandpa lived very close to my grandpa and grandma Hunter.
