To buy or not to buy
I had a great idea for what I was going to write this week. It was awesome, really. I was so excited about it and I was planning it all out Friday night.
I have no idea what it was now.
So, I decided to go through some things I have saved to buy on Amazon.
• First we have a lamp. It’s a skinny floor lamp that can bend, can change color tone and can change brightness levels. Sounds about near perfect to me for crafting and whatnot. Do I need it? Yes, and no. But definitely more yes than no.
• A little duck pendant that you can hang from your rear view mirror. It just swings along as you drive. Look it up, it’s the cutest little thing. Necessary? Not in the slightest.
• A self-leveling drink holder that attaches to your suitcase. As someone who has been on quite a few trips and spent many an hour in an airport juggling too many things, this contraption sounds like a godsend.
• A mini projector. Do I have the space for this? Not really. Is there a chance it could be a dud because it’s an off-brand and is kinda cheap? Sure. But it just sounds so freaking cool. I could project my current Netflix show on the ceiling. Amazing.
• A handle for my Yeti. Anyone with smaller hands who has a cup like this will probably admit to dropping it a time or two. I know I have. But then again, I’m clumsy.
• Apple watch bands. That one seems self-explanatory.
• A six-and-a-half foot by three foot American flag. But not just any flag, one that has 420 LED bulbs to show off those beautiful stars and stripes. I don’t want to think what my electric bill would be if I got one, but I’ve seen them around and they’re just too cool.
• A plaid shirt.
• A striped, v-neck sweater.
• Another shirt.
• Another sweater...I don’t want to talk about it.
• A pair of boots. I have these on here because I loved the way they looked and I got excited. I then remembered I can’t buy shoes online because I have feet flatter than - you know what, we’re not going to talk about my feet details here because this isn’t that kind of media. Moving on.
• Every season of ‘El Gran Hotel’, a Spanish drama I came across on Netflix a few years ago. My god was that a good show. Romance, drama, backstabbing, quirky characters, it had it all. Seriously. I got hooked, and then, like they always seem to do, they took it off Netflix. Jerks.
Some of these items are brand new, others have been waiting for months. But that “add to cart” button is looking a liiitttllleee too enticing...
