Bidders must pre-register for tax sale

We are in the process of preparing eligible properties for tax sale. We sent certified letters out in the mail. All properties subject to the sale should have received their notice if the address is current in the office.

SRI has uploaded the list to their site and began the preparations for the tax sale Sept. 15, 2017 to be held in the commissioner’s room on the third floor of the courthouse.

Anyone that would like to bid on the properties needs to be pre-registered online. We will not be registering bidders the day of the sale. Anyone registering to bid needs to be current on all real and personal property taxes in which they are the deeded owner.

The link to register is sri-taxsale.com. If you have any questions about the tax sale please feel free to call SRI at 800-800-9588. Remember, you must do your own research on any properties that you are interested in purchasing.

Again, we welcome everyone to come to the office and ask questions, get to know the staff, allowing us to assist you in any way possible. Soon, we will all be heading back to school and for parents life will return back to routine, sports and working.
