The Elks Lodge presented an emotional tribute to Greene County Veterans on Saturday morning.The names of more than 180 war veterans who died in service to the country were read while members of the Bloomfield Naval Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps placed a symbolic dog stage on wooden crosses as a way of remember each veteran. Col. Alan M. Pratt, commander at NSWC Crane was the guest speaker. The Linton-Stockton High School band provided musical accompaniment to the program. Members of the American Legion Post No. 22 Firing Squad provided a 21 gun salute.
