Max Miller and his granddaughter, Emily, 5, made their first trip to Marsh Madness Sandhill Crane Festival this weekend. Max said he recently moved to the area and kept hearing about the festival and decided to bring his sidekick along. The two spent Saturday morning looking through their binoculars at the Goose Pond Visitor’s Center, and were excited to see some pelicans on their way in.
