2017 Linton-Stockton Elementary Spelling Bee

Linton-Stockton Elementary held a spelling bee Wednesday, Jan. 18. 27 students, each the top speller in their class, competed in 10 rounds of increasingly harder words. Taking home the trophy for first place was second grader Owen Smith, with fourth grader Taryn Thuis as runner up. Smith will advance to the regional bee in Bloomington Feb. 11.
