Remembering Madi Moore

The illness and passing of Linton's Madi Moore from GVHD, graft-versus-host-disease, a complication of a stem cell transplant received by Moore to prevent the recurrence of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) she was in remission from, brought together the residents of Greene County in myriad ways. From prayer circles formed by students, staff and faculty at area schools to events and fundraisers for the plucky Linton teen, Madi Moore became a driving force uniting the Greene County community in prayer, in love and in grief. We celebrate the life of Madi Moore and the love of her community here.
