Eastern Greene beats Vincennes Lincoln on senior night

CINCINNATI Ind. – Eastern Greene defeated Vincennes Lincoln 59-52 Friday night to move to 5-12 on the season. The Thunderbirds honored its two seniors in Bryan Rippy and Will Valentine prior to the game. The Alices fell to 0-17. Rippy had a team-high 19 as Valentine finished with nine. Jackson Brewer hit three shots from outside the arc as he had 16. The T-Birds went 9-15 from the line in the fourth quarter to put the game away. Rippy earned a spot on the Hoosier Basketball Coaches All District Team Monday. Eastern Greene has won two straight after downing Owen Valley Tuesday 64-56. The T-Birds have five games left in the regular season as it hosts WRV Wednesday and travels to Shakamak Friday.
